Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to 5th Grade! As you are enjoying your last few days of summer, your teachers are
hard at work preparing the classroom for next school year. Your child will need the following supplies
for class:
● Mechanical Pencils OR regular Pencils (no plastic wrapped pencils- they peel and clog pencil
sharpeners)
● Crayons- 24 pack
● Erasers or eraser tops
● glue sticks
● Sharpener WITH trap (no electric ones please)
● Earbuds (optional)
● 3-5 highlighters in various colors
● Pens in various colors for correcting
● 2-3 fine tip EXPO markers (Brand matters! Others don’t fully erase)
● 5”x8” pencil box (larger ones don’t fit well in desks and smaller ones don’t hold enough
supplies)
● 1-2 fine tip AND ultra fine tip Sharpies
● Spiral bound notebook for homework
● Folder to keep work in (You will be given a Bulldog folder that you can use for this purpose)

If you would like to donate any of the following supplies to the class when we return, these would also
be appreciated:
● Purell hand sanitizer
● Clorox or Lysol wipes
● Kleenex
● Crayola Markers- 10 pack fine tip and regular tip
● Colored pencils
● Sheet protectors
