I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I moved to the United States when I started college in 2005. I attended New Mexico State University for 4 years as a student athlete; I was a competitive swimmer. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I attended Cal State Bakersfield for one year working on my Special Education Credential. I also attended Fresno Pacific University for my Masters and credential in Administrated Services.
This is my 10th year teaching, 9th year here at Bimat. I love teaching 2nd and 3rd grade and have my whole teaching career.
I am happily married to a Bakersfield native. We have twin toddler boys, two dogs, and a cat. When I am not teaching, I enjoy movies, cooking, reading, the beach, and spending time with my family.
