Helpful Math Websites

The following websites offer a variety of resources to

assist you in helping your child with the

new Common Core math standards:

www.khanacademy.org

Here is the website where you can access a practice test for the Common Core Smarter Balance test which will be administered in the Spring.

Type the following link into your browser: http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/sa/practicetest.asp and then scroll down to where it says "PRACTICE TEST".
Click on “Click here to go to the Practice/Training Test”.
On the next screen, click "Log in" (You will be taking the practice test as a "Guest")
On the next screen, select “Grade 3” and then "Yes"
There are six practice tests you can choose from. The middle one in the left column is an example of the Math benchmark. The one directly below that is the Math performance task, which students will also be expected to do in the Spring.
