Hello and welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Courtney Baize. I was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. In 2016, I moved to Orange County to attend California State University, Fullerton. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders, Master of Education, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and CLAD Certification. This is my second year of teaching (both here at Bimat in Kindergarten) and I am so excited about it. I have experience student teaching and working as a long-term substitute teacher. I was a student teacher in a 3^rd grade classroom and long-term substitute in a Kindergarten classroom. I am so thrilled to be a part of this Bulldog family!

            In my family, I am the oldest child. I have two younger sisters, Brittany and Haley, who both live in San Diego currently. Brittany just graduated from San Diego State University with her bachelor’s degree. Haley is starting her Junior year at San Diego State University. I am very close to my parents and see them often since they also live in Bakersfield. I have been dating my boyfriend for about 3.5 years now. He currently lives in Orange County, which is where we met through both attending CSU Fullerton.

            I am so excited to make a memorable year with your students! Our classroom will be a safe and fun place for the students learn. I am looking forward to seeing how much your students will grow this year and build on their love for learning! I am so happy for you to be a part of our Bimat Family!
