Dear Families,

Welcome to an exciting new school year at Bimat Elementary. My name is Meghan Parker, and I am excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher. This will be my 13th year teaching. My teaching experience includes teaching Kindergarten for 5 years, then first grade for 3 years and most recently third grade for the past 4 years. I’m very happy to find myself back in Kindergarten. I’ve always loved it! While I am new to Bimat, I already feel at home and look forward to being a part of the Bulldog family. 

Kindergarten is such a special year for your child. It will be full of growth, wonder, and big milestones. In our classroom, your child will learn to read, write, build math skills, explore the world around them, and develop important social and emotional tools that will serve them for years to come. Most importantly, my goal is to create a classroom environment where your child feels safe, valued, and cared for. 

I also know the value in establishing a strong connection between home and school, and I’m looking forward to building a supportive partnership with each of you.
