Hello! My name is Jessie Braziel. I was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. In 2016 I attended California State Bakersfield, where I got my  Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and Minor In child development. I moved to San Luis Obispo in 2020 to attend Cal Poly to receive my teaching credential in Special Education and my Masters of Education in Special Education.  This is my 4th year of teaching as the resource specialist. I was once a Bulldog and I am  so thrilled to be a part of this Bulldog family as a teacher!

            In my family, I am the oldest child. I have one younger sister, Jenna , who both lives in Chico currently. I am very close to my parents and see them often since they also live in Bakersfield.  You may know my mom Barbara Russo, she is a Kindergarten teacher at Bimat. I am married to my husband Tim and we have two rescue dogs and two kittens that adopted us. 

            I am so excited to make a memories this year with your students!  I am looking forward to seeing how much your students will grow this year and build on their love for learning! I am so happy for you to be a part of our Bimat Family!
